THE TRUE TEACHER

THE TRUE TEACHER

A true teacher is one who has seen the truth – the truth that is not senselessly segregated, departmentalized, compartmentalized, tom a part and made into a mechanical rote and routine of swallowing without understanding, without questioning with no sense of wonder, power, beauty… magic.

A true teacher has seen – he has seen that everything is a part of a grand whole… his is an integrated, holistic sweep of the world… he can begin anywhere with any object, person, idea and show clearly, passionately the link to everything that is our world…

In that sense, a true teacher is an extraordinary human being… his is the power and glory… he is the being and the maker, the creator of a human being… it is his to sculpt, to shape, to transform and give a new birth.

No matter what subject he takes up, a true teacher knowing the whole gives it grandeur. Everything is a source of wonder, of depth, of profundity… History, Geography, Physics, Economics, Arts etc…, all are one. His power cannot be computed. Yet a true teacher is a simple man because he has seen with integrity… integrated the various elements into units of thought principles that cover the entire world in time and space.

A true teacher has made the world small, finite, graspable, simple. Small is beautiful… oh! So beautiful!

It’s as if he has got a chip – a chip that can program all life – and making possible countless applications in all directions – between technology, science, arts.

A true teacher is passionate about everything. His wish to communicate is immense. This is obvious because he has too much to say having seen everything as one.

It is a strange thing he holds, a vision that is so simple and yet contains everything – a capsule to the brain, anything and piercing the brown and leaving indelible seeds that can grow, without end…
