LOVE TRANSFORMS

LOVE TRANSFORMS

People are not basically bad or evil. But what happens is most people as they grow cannot resist or rebel against the irrational, senseless beliefs, thrust upon them. They lack the strength to fight all the things – from childhood that put them down. They become discouraged, part cynical and end up with flaws, doubts, complexes and above all an overriding fear and insecurity about themselves. They failed to develop the independence needed to question the belief systems and think on their own.

They, thus end up average and what do they do? They follow the rules set by the society in which they live. They choose blindness under pressure and live out a life in a mediocre way.

Is this really necessary?

Do people really have to live like that - blind, driven, busy always with calculations, led by their inner fears to carry out and fill time to do things which they don’t really want and not knowing anything else?

It is possible to transform people. But what we need is love. What is love?

Love in the sense I mean here is, basic respect and belief in man and probably for the first time in his life – understanding him uniquely and deeply so that he could feel free and express whatever he feels. It means to talk, talk at length once, twice, and repeatedly.

Sticking to him/her and repeating the truth and giving him perspective again and again from several angles and in a variety of occasions brings about dramatic changes in most of the people.

Of course, some are more resistant, some seem to be impossible to be changed, some come to your side and are struck by your words and love, easily. Some keep shifting…

Expect nothing. You are not a zealot but simply a man who speaks the truth. That is enough. That transforms!

A few would become your ardent fans because only with you they would feel the peace and joy of a simple view of life as happiness and no baggage of fear.

It’s a pleasure really. It keeps you going. Be calm and deal with people with a spirit of love and detachment.

Your road is then clear. That is how one lives in a blind world.

The world can be won! It demands love for the good things and a deep, profound feeling for life and its glory and beauty.
